At the heart of all we do lies a deep commitment to our school family, flourishing and learning together through all Jesus' teaching. Everyone belongs and we encourage each other to be our best, in a respectful, safe, nurturing and creative environment. Through friendship and God's love, we give each other hope and the courage to succeed. This is a place where we can be our unique selves and serve as a beacon of light to all our community. Following in the footsteps of Christ, we live our lives through our values of respect, kindness, responsibility and hope. "You are the light that gives light to the world." Matthew 5:14
Rooted in our Christian ethos, we teach optimism and faith. Even in challenge, children look ahead with confidence.
Respect guides all we do. We value everyone, promoting understanding and care so all feel seen and included.
Small acts of kindness help us create a happy, welcoming school where everyone feels valued.
Being responsible helps us learn, grow, and support others, building confidence and independence.

“We wanted to give our 'host' Lucy a massive thank you and well done. She showed us all around the school and interacted with our little girl which made her feel even more comfortable and she's not stopped talking about Lucy since we got home. A massive credit to the school and Lucy's parents she was so brave taking us round and was so polite. Our little girl will look forward to coming to St. John's. Thank you”
“I would recommend this school wholeheartedly. Leaders have high expectations, and my child is doing well across subjects with lots of extra‑curricular activities to enrich their experience.”
“Leaders and staff show genuine commitment to every child’s personal development. Pupils feel respected, behaviour is consistently positive, and communication with parents is clear and welcoming.”
“Our child feels safe at school every day. Behaviour is well managed and a friendly community atmosphere helps pupils feel secure and supported in their learning.”
Year 3 / 4 have had a busy week, full of fun and engaging learning. In Math's, we have been learning to divide 3-digit numbers by 1 digit, using manipulatives. We found this a little tricky at first, but with plenty of practice, we have finally mastered it. In writing, we have just finished our big write. We wrote a story from another culture, which involved 2 characters, set in Norway. The children wrote some amazing narratives with amazing, expanded noun phrases and similes. In PE, we have been practicing our football skills, including dribbling and attacking.
Some our reading ambassadors enjoyed bringing the love of reading to Toddler Group last week . #QUESTtrust #StJohnsAbram
This week in Year 2, we have been enjoying our new PE unit of Dance. We have been exploring what different flowers might move like if we had a secret garden. We planned, practiced and performed a piece of dance to show what our secret garden would be like. #QUESTtrust #StJohnsAbram
Some of our Y5 & Y6's were chosen to take part in an Action Festival as part of School Games today. The day consisted of adventure climbing, boxing, scooter ramp work and ended with an assault course. The children have had a fantastic day and we hope we can attend more events like this in the future
Year 1 have been busy exploring place value to 20. We have been comparing teen numbers with cubes, ordering them from smallest to greatest. Then we took our learning further and compared the numbers on a number line, filling in the missing numbers and counting how many jumps to the different numbers . #QUESTtrust #Stjohnsabram
